Duel Runner Aki-bot

Well now, this was an interesting one.

So, for the longest time, I've mostly avoided doing complex robot drawings primarily because there was SO much detail in them, some of which I've never been totally convinced was necessary but while talking with ~Kamon72 about ideas and stories he was working on, I decided 'what the heck' and decided to give one a try. Mind you, its not perfect but it was my first try with such a design.

Figuring out how to mix robot and motorcycle is tough (those who draw custom Transformers: I respect you greatly) but using reference from various mechs, I came to a design I though worked and went with it.

What you see is the end result and bellow is a quick story of how she was made to be this. I wrote the process of the transformation while Kamon edited and added more to the story of it. Enjoy

Akiza Izinski ran as that could possibly be the truth behind the Arcadia Movement. She had just came by the one of the Arcadia Movementís branch offices to get an adjustment done to her psychic restrainer when she happened to overhear two people talking about the real goal of the Arcadia Movement and what Sayer's true intentions were. That being that the goal was to assemble an army of duelists with unnatural powers to wage war against Goodwin and New Domino City in revenge for their discrimination with her and one other person being a major part of this part. Akiza did not stick around long enough to find out who this other person was before just running away.

As she ran from the office, she began thinking that this was the same thing that Yusei had told her a few days ago and she did not believe him as the Arcadia Movement was helping her learn to control her power as that why they gave her the psychic restrainer in her hair.

Akiza brought a hand to her head and touch her restrainer beginning to really think about what she had been doing since joining the movement. Sure she had better control of her powers so that they did not just run wild like they did when she was young but simply controlling a power was not the same as mastering it and that was what she wanted to do. In her duels with Commander Koda and Yusei she lost control as her psychic restrainer broke both times. The first time she was able to control her powers lbut the second time she lost control and if it was not for Yusei she could have caused a lot of damage to the stadium and injuried a lot of people.

Sayer told her that it was Yusei's fault for trying to confuse her thinking that he could help her yet there was some truth to what he was saying yet she did not want to believe it as she had faith in Sayer.

Whether through good or bad luck Akiza too busy trying to figure things out had run into the one of the two people that she was thinking of.

"Hey there Aki-chan. What's wrong." Sayer asked.

Akiza then managed to calm herself down and explain everything that she had overheard and was waiting for him to tell her that it was not true as she did not join the Arcadia Movement to do that she just wanted to control her powers or get rid of her wretched Dragon mark.

Sayer just sighed as she saw him place his left hand in his pocket and seemly press something that within it.

Akiza felt a sudden jolt coming from her psychic restrainer that went down along her spine, causing her skin to crawl with a sudden cold sweat. "Wha-what did you just do?" Akiza asked Sayer.

Sayer gave a saddened look. "I've activated Plan B, I'm very saddened to say. You see, Aki-chan, you're too dangerous to be left alone. Your powers too great to let slip into the hands of our enemies. Which is why I gave you that device to restrain your abilities. Should you ever decide you no longer believe in our cause, it will cause all of the psychic power it's restraining to reverberate deep into your body and activate some 'special friends' I had place into you sometime after you joined us." Sayer explained.

"'Special Friends'? Akiza asked. Suddenly, she felt a sudden shock come from her hands. She looked and saw the flesh of her fingers dissolving away, reveal pale, gray metal beneath them. "What are you doing to me?!" Akiza screamed, surprised by a sudden mono-tone, robotic undertone to her voice.

"Nanites, my dear Akiza-chan, nanites. I had at least a quart of them placed into your body. With your restrainers now sending psychic pulses threw your body, the nanites are not only activated now, feeding off that energy, but are following up there programing, which is converting your body into a robotic state. One of my own design to make you into a robotic, dueling soldier. Once the changes are complete, I'm afraid to say that precious psychic power will be gone considering machines can't posses such things. I will have it so that your current persona as well most of your memories are erased and replaced with the your Black Rose Wit-" Sayer stopped when he noticed Akiza was already gone.

Akiza was running from Sayer, trying to find a place where she would be away from general public as she could not let anyone see her like this. Though with each step she ran, the nanites took another piece of her away. Her hands were fully changed into robotic hands while the nanites worked up her arm, turning her fore-arm into white metal. Her feet burst from her shoes as they too changed, becoming metallic heeled boots, the feet more piping and gears while a pink and yellow guard appeared over them with the heel giving to support it. Everywhere the nanites had converted to machinary, the clothing ripped and fell apart, falling into pieces as she changed.

"Must find someone...Yusei....mama....papa...." Akiza thought. She needed someone that could help. She stopped at a street corner, attempting to figure out where she was. Already the changes had reached her elbows, becoming jointed, gray metal, attaching her white fore arm to her slowly changing white upper arm. Her legs, which had been doing the most work in her running, were fully machine up to her pelvis. White metal had become her legs with gray metal hinges and her pelvis had turned pink. What was becoming strange was that, as her lower region lost its human female characteristics, in its place began to grow what looked like leather in the front while her backside was bulging into something else altogether, right now just clumps of metal and glass. Her thighs were also bulging for some unknown reason to Akiza.

Akiza thought quickly, trying to think, of all the information that she remember of Yusei and his friends, anything that was useful to herself. She then realized that she was not far from the Tops residential area. The siblings, Luna and Leo lived there. Getting up as much energy as her body had left, she began running in that direction.

Akiza's movements were beginning to become sluggish and more mechanical as the changes continue. The leather grew into what looked like the seat from a D-Wheel while the bit growing from the back looked like the front of one. Akiza was beginning to have an empty feeling in herself as her torso began to dissolve into piping and her blood slowly became oil, hydraulic fluid, and wires. From the leather seat extended two metal rods that made there way up until they made contact with Akiza's breasts. Once touching, her breasts too began to take on a black leather look.

Akiza felt she couldn't give up. She was only a block from Tops and then she could ask the siblings for help. But what would be left of her, she wondered, as more then half her body was machinery now.

"Would Leo and Luna even recognize that it me?" Akiza thought as she hoped Luna was there as she had nothing against Leo but his sister knew her as more then just the Black Rose which was the one that Sayer was really interested in. The whole talk about how she did not need her Black Rose persona and that she just duel as herself was just his attempt to make the real her more like Black Rose persona she created.

To Aki's dismay, a block was seeming to take longer as her movement slowed more as her shoulders and back were giving her cramps with what ever muscles she had left in them. Both her shoulders and back began to grow though for different reasons. From her back began to grow more pipes and cold gray metal. The metal soon began to take the form of what looked to be a motorcycle engine. Her shoulders, on the other hand, began to grow the same pink and white metal covering the rest of her body with black rubber near the end. Soon enough, they too took shape, the black rubber take the shape of wheels while the rest was revealed to be the suspension for the wheels.

Akiza pushed forward even though she was realizing there was little hope she'd make it in time. She was still only half a block further and yet her body was beginning to give out on her.

A shop door opened just several feet away from Akiza and, to her surprise, out stepped Luna and Leo. With a renewed hope, she tried to call out but her voice would not come, instead a soft squeek did. Her eyes were glazing over, becoming a solid glass with a yellow light now shining from them. Her face was soon covered in white and pink metal with black glass just above the eyes yet maintained its appearance. Her psychic restrainer, the cause of all this, began to grow while the hair wrapped around it turned pink and metallic with another yellow light appearing at its center. When the restrainer had finished its own changes, it now was the shape of a d-wheel handle bars.

Her transformation complete, now a fully transformed robot girl for all save her hair, which now had a metallic quality to it to, Akiza's eyes glowed for a moment as she said, her lips unmoving and in a monotone, emotionless voice 'Duel Runner Robot Akiza powering down.'

In a few seconds, Akiza's body contorted in inhuman ways as she reconfigured. Akiza's face became hidden as the motorcycle front slid over her head and a panel covered over her hair. When the wheels touched down, Akiza's shift into a pink and white Duel Runner was complete.
