Weird Girls - Tatara

During class, most of my commission work is not really... campus appropriate so I often just do character sketches while I'm in class. I don't share them all but every now and then I like to show some off. Heres one.

The Weird Girls is a group run by Manci. Essentially, they are girls that simply aren't normal, Manci a good example of that. But here's another: Tatara.

Tatara is the daughter of a woman simply called the Mother of Weapons. In a constant state of pregnancy, this immortal will give birth to children who's bodies are comprised of various weapons. Tatara is no exception with a mace head comprising her left arm, a long blade coming out her right hand, swords for feet, and what ever parts of her body that look normal in sketch are in fact comprised of dozens of tiny little metal fragments. This includes her hair made of of strands of bladed wire.

Tatara meet Darin and, sequentially, Manci at a time when Darin was looking for rumors of a weapon long thought lost. While there, Manci befriended Tatara who liked Manci, seeing Manci's own unusual appearance as fun and interesting. She accompanied them as they left and assisted them in many battles after.

Among her powers is the unique ability to be wielded as a weapon as well as fight normally. The hilt on her head, when grabbed, will send a pulse threw her that, based on the energy of the person who found her, will change her into a weapon best reflecting that person's personality and fighting preference. She can reject her wielder, of course, if it is not someone she trusts, often having her hair stick up like spikes to impale the person's hand(s). She is not someone to be under-estimated.
