While out on patrol, a mysterious tornado appeared before Mikasa, carrying her up and away. It took her a bit but she eventually managed to pull herself out, only to find herself nowhere near anywhere she recognized, suddenly finding herself in a mysterious desert. Out of gas for her tanks, she abandoned her gear and was preparing to disconnect her swords to bring with when she began to hear a strange melody in the air. It was so entrancing. she tried to follow it but noted it stopped... for a moment anyways before it started again, now echoing louder in the small cavern she found herself in...
